The Bovyne is an obviously cow-like pet, as indicated both by its features and name. It's most easily-recognized features include unusual horns, a spade-tipped tail, and furry cloven hooves. Its popularity is limited, although fans of the species frequently keep a small herd of the creatures.

The Common Bovyne is primarily white with blue spotted Holstein patterning. It has a larger pair horns with two prongs and a smaller pair of nubby horns. Unique to this species are the double horns on its nose, much like a rhinoceros. The Bovyne is available in 22 additional colors, including Angelic and Bloodred.

Criticism

Some members were upset over the revamp, but aside from that, there is little to no criticism or drama surrounding the Bovyne.

  • The current version of the Bovyne is a revamp; the original was slightly less exotic in appearance.
  • The standard colors of the Bovyne all have a jingle bell at their necks; each bell for the more desirable colors (e.g., Graveyard and Hydrus) is unique.
  • The name Bovyne is derived from the real-world term Bovine, which refers to any member of Bovinae, a diverse group that includes domestic cattle and bison.
