The Kora is a delicate-looking pet that is best known for its large eyes, tiny nose, long ears, and multiple tails.

When first created, the Kora is Common by default. This means it has a pale blue body color with navy accents. It can later be recolored to any of 22 varieties it comes in, including the popular favorites Angelic and Darkmatter.

Criticism
Some members claim that the Kora's design is taken from that of a Pokemon character, Vulpix (a monster with six curly tails). However, Vulpix is designed after a Japanese mythological creature of old, the kitsune.

Did You Know?
- The staff originally had a difficult time deciding which version of the Darkmatter Kora to release; eventually, the idea was scrapped altogether. It was former Assistant Administrator mbif who endorsed the current version, asking the artist responsible for it to push for its release.
- In the real world, Kora refers to both an instrument of African origin and a form of Buddhist pilgrimage.
- In Polish "Kora" means bark (of a tree).
- The current Kora is a redraw released on Dec 02, 2007. The darkmatter Kora is still in the old style.
