Kumos

The Kumos is a wolf-like pet made unique by its large, fluffy tail and three unique markings on its body (eye, shoulder, and rear haunch.) It is one of the -- if not the -- most popular pets on Subeta, arguably because of its resemblance to the popular canine species. Its appearance also makes it a favorite for use in roleplaying on the forums.

When first created, the Kumos comes only in Common, which makes it a light grey-blue with a pale underbelly and markings. It can be made into any of 24 other colors, including Reborn and Angelic.
Criticism
The Kumos has come under considerable fire concerning its general appearance; critics, particularly newbies migrating from major competitor NeoPets, frequently point out its similarity to the Lupe [1]. This claim, while understandable, is something of a moot point; wolves are a popular animal and NeoPets certainly can lay no claim to the concept of the wolf.
