The Mahar is a dragon-like pet that lives underground. It has jewel-like growths on its body, and wears an earring in its left ear.

The Common Mahar is brown, with green jewels and underbelly, and black horns. It is currently available in twelve colors, including Nuclear and Marsh.

There is no known criticism about the Mahar.

• When it was first released, the Mahar was known as the Sage. Its name was changed on October 5th 2007.
