Potataur, also known as Meepishness or The Artist Formerly Known as Meepishness, is a fairly new addition to Subeta's ever-growing list of members.

About Potataur
Of Filipino descent, Potataur is originally from Kahului, Maui. Currently in his last year of college, he lives with three other students in an overpriced apartment in Southern California. He freelances as a web programmer. He owns a Jack Russell Terrier called Donovan and is an avid consumer of "real sushi, not the wimpy California Roll kind".
Subeta
Joining
Potataur originally joined Subeta in July 2007 for a class project. The assignment was to create a website using a database and PHP, and he, along with two other classmates, proceeded to create their very own pet site. One of the jobs in the assignment was to do research on competing websites and their features, prompting Potataur and his group members to join Subeta. After the project was completed Potataur remained an active member (aside from a long hiatus between Sepetember 2007 and January 2008), his website being highly inferior to Subeta. Hosting has since then expired for his unknown pet site and there are no plans on renewing it.
Activity
Potataur frequents the Subeta forums, mainly the Imagination Station and Chit-Chat. Recently he has been spotted lurking in Subeta's official IRC channel.
Lacking the skill and a speedy internet connection, he doesn't restock. Instead, he earns his income through digital art commissions in the Imagination Station, and Wizard, Saggitarius and Item Hunt quests.
Pets
He currently owns five pets: Chunky the Nightmare Dillema, Therris the Glacier Keeto, Alfear the Galactic Paralix (adopted from Adopt R Us), Olander the Common Darkonite (originally a victim of Pet Zapper Version 2) and Rilf the Common Mahar. He plans on recoloring the last three to Graveyard, Spectrum and Nuclear, respectively.
Name Change
Potataur first signed up for Subeta under the username "Meepishness", a name inspired by a friend who liked to make up odd words and also for lack of anything better to use. Shortly after joining he came up with another name to go by and began saving up for an Identity Star Shuriken. On January 26, 2008 he finally purchased one and changed his name to Potataur. The name is derived from his obsession with potatoes and minotaurs.
