Merana's Quest is located on Subeta's Uncharted Island. Completing her quests allows you to transform your pet into Hydrus.

How to Begin
Once you've collected all 9 pieces of the Uncharted Land Map and redeemed them, you will have access to the Uncharted Island.
When visiting Merana, she will first ask you which pet you would like to turn into a Hydrus (pending availability of species). Once you've chosen your pet, she will then ask you to retrieve item(s) for her spell. Once you have retrieved her item(s), she will transform your chosen pet into Hydrus.
Important Note: If you decide to pound a Hydrus pet, it will revert to Common.
Strategy
The items Merana requires can be found at the Spells Galore shop (located in Sacred Lands). Prices will vary per quest so you may spend between 20k sP to over 1 million sP for her item(s). Also consider the Trade Center for items that don't turn up in shops (called UB-Unbuyable).
Time Limit
Although you cannot "quit" Merana's quests (which you can for all others), she does not time you, meaning that you can take your time to gain the required items.
Frequency
There is no limit on how many times you can visit Merana.
