Montre

The Montre is a unique fox- or coyote-like pet best known for its intense (some people say emo) and somewhat tribal appearance. It features wings, a feathered tailband, and numerous scarlike markings on its body. It is arguably one of the most popular pets on Subeta; many players have at least one, and they are used in everything from avatars to roleplays on the forums.

When first created, the Montre is Common by default; this makes it primarily brown, although is also has cream and grey accents. It is one of the most popular pets on subeta and currently comes in 21 additional colors, including the ever-popular Chibi and Hydrus.

Did You Know?
- The current Montre is a redraw.
- Many staff artists attempted the redraw, one of which was Sooki. One can see her version of the Montre by looking at the Angelic-colored one.
- Neither the Chibi or Hydrus Montres has anything hanging from their tailbands; all other colors do.
- There has been a great amount of debate surrounding what real-life species the Montre is intended to resemble; most agree that it is a coyote, although some feel that it is actually a fox. There are even a few that argue that the Montre is actually feline.
