How To Play
Whenever there is an active contest, simply read your pet as many books as you possibly can. If your pet is the the Top 10 for the most books read, then you are a winner!

Strategy
There are a few things you can do to make the Reading Contest easier for both you and your virtual pocketbook.
- Read your pet any books that you acquire through quests, random events, etc.
- Get your pet's reading level up when there is no current contest, so you can buy books while they're still cheap.
- Restock as many books as you can; this can be an excellent source of income and a much cheaper way to acquire reading material than member shops!

Frequency
The Reading Contest happens when it happens, to put it simply. The staff decides when there is a new one, and unfortunately, it's not very often. In fact, there seems to have only been one so far, and that was back in October of 2004.
