How To Play
The Subeta stock market functions in much the same way that the real-life stock market does. Players are able to purchase a number of stocks and resell them, making a profit if the value has increased, or taking a loss if the value has decreased. If a stock reaches a per-share value of 0, you will lose any shares of it that you have purchased.
Buying Shares of Stocks
Select the stock of your choice from the Stock List. On the following page, click the "Purchase" link. You will be taken to a page that allows you to enter how many shares you'd like to purchase; enter in the number, and you're done.
Please note that you can only invest in a stock when the per-share price is at least 5 sP.
Selling Shares of Stocks
Go to your stock portfolio. Find the stock you own that you'd like to sell; click the "Sell" link to the right of it. At the next page, you can enter in the number of shares; do so and click the "Sell X Company" button below. You're done!
Strategy
Buy Low, Sell High - As with the real-life stock market, this is the key! An easy way to do this with minimum risks is to only purchase stock shares when they are between 5-10 sP each. Be sure to check them often to see if the price has gone up. Sell your stocks as soon as their value has increased from the price you paid.
Diversify - Don't put all of your eggs in one basket! If you invest in just one company, and that company goes bankrupt, you've just lost all of your investments in a single blunder! Try to keep a variety of stocks in your portfolio just to be on the safe side.
Don't Over-Invest - Ideally, you should never have more than 20-40% of your total assets invested in the stock market. This way, if the bottom falls out of the market, you still have plenty of cash left. Invest everything, and there's a chance you might lose it all.
Frequency
There is a daily limit of 1,000 shares.
