The Telenine is a prehistoric-looking sabre-toothed canid presumably related to the real-life wolf. Like most canine species, it is a popular favorite for roleplaying in the Subeta forums.

When first created, the Telenine is Common by default and is primarily various shades of blue. The stegosaurus-inspired back plates, however, are purple.

This species is available in 23 colors. These colors include Spectrum and Marsh.

Criticism

The Telenine is yet another pet that is frequently accused of being a ripoff of NeoPets' Lupe[1]. However, readers are encouraged to take this accusation with a grain of salt, as the Lupe is based off the real-life wolf. Nobody, obviously, can lay claim to the rights of a real-life species.
